Meet Our Lead Planner, Tiffany!
For as long as I can remember, I have been the person in charge of coordinating and planning, both in my personal and professional lives. I’ve planned countless birthday parties for my nieces and nephews, an over-the-top 60th birthday blowout for my mother-in-law, my best friend’s bachelorette party, campaign launch events, community engagement activities, and more. My love of details, fun nature, and ability to make genuine connections with people serves me well in this role. I sincerely enjoy getting lost in the details of planning and executing special occasions, and I like to have a good time while doing it (mimosa brunch planning sessions are my fave!). I live for a timeline, a to-do list, and most importantly checking things off the list! Although I always knew that planning was my passion, I became caught up in pursuing my corporate career and lost sight of my dreams.
For the last three years, I’ve worked as a Venue Representative for BK Venues providing on-site support for events at Greenpoint Loft and touring potential clients through the space. I spent my first couple years at Greenpoint Loft learning the ins-and-outs of the industry and gained an even greater appreciation for planning.
After my grandmother, Jessie Ruth, passed away somewhat suddenly in 2017, I found courage and strength in a way that I hadn’t before and was inspired to take a leap of faith and launch Jessie Ruth Event & Experience Planning in her honor.

Day-of Services (6 weeks in advance of wedding date is recommended)

- Ongoing advice and recommendations for event execution
- Development of overall planning timeline
- Coordination of vendor and final vendor payments (including review of all vendor contracts)
- Venue site visits
- Regular meetings (in-person, phone, or virtual) with couple
- Creation and management of day-of timeline
- Day-of management and point person for all inquiries and issues (e.g., manages all vendors, coordinates set-up and break-down, disseminates final vendor payments, etc.)
- Wedding party coordination (e.g., ensuring that the wedding party and family adheres to the timeline, handling any last minute issues, and providing much needed emotional support-and tissues- for all of the important moments)

"Let me preface this by saying that I have no party planning history and though I certainly wanted a party to be able to celebrate our love with our family and friends, I had no clue where to begin planning for a wedding. Tiffany was able to take my ideas, hopes and dreams for this celebration and mold into an INCREDIBLE night. Throughout our meetings leading up to the big date, she was always listening to what I wanted and kept me on schedule (I am a teacher with too many other roles to keep track of, which keeps me to crazy schedule). Most impressively, she was able to take my vision and bring it to life, from the decorations, to the setup, to the way the day flowed. On the day of, she made sure EVERYTHING went according to plan, she checked in with me when she needed to, but also used my maid of honor for things that I *did not* need to know about or be aware of just yet. She was calm and focused throughout the event and made sure all events occur on time and at appropriate times.
